From Madam Alice
Hello everyone it is good to be back blogging. I appreciate that it has been a bit slow but we are going through a little bit of change.
Now don't panic, the changes are OK but what it does mean is that our normal week routine has had to be amended.
Earlier this year my mother had a fall and we had to look after her for 6 weeks, the reality is that Mick stepped up to the plate and spent a lot of the time up at my mother's being her carer. Now it was Mick doing that job and not billie - I think my mother would have had a "dickie fit" if I had sent billie to look after her.
While up in Leicester at my Mother's Mick took on some online work for a university looking at some of their training and teaching. The result is that he has now been asked to do regular work for them. That will involve Mick being away for 3 days every fortnight (1 day one week and 2 days the next) so we will be adjusting our domestic routine a little.
John has been keeping busy with his work but still a strong and important part of our relationship for billie and I, so no change there for us.
My work was very quick to get back to normal, but we are still able to do some work from home and I do the occasional visit into the London Office (thankfully less than it was before COVID hit).
So what are we planning to do going forward with the blog? Well we will try to get back into a regular posts of at least one a week with billie taking the lead for posting as he did before. I will continue to add in my perspective on our lifestyle and the fun that we will be upto. Also we will to continue with our short posts on twitter and elsewhere.
So for everyone, keep safe, keep dropping by the site and let us know what you think.

Madam Alice - i am sorry to hear about your mother and i hope that she is fully recovered from her fall. It was good of Mick to ride to the rescue. Out of interest, do any family members know about billie's submission to you or his feminine side?
ReplyDeleteIt is great to have you both posting again, you were missed after you had to take the old blog down.
Regards to you all from us.

From Alice,
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Poppet,
Thank you my Mother is back to her normal busybody self! ( I love her really but glad that we don't live too close) Mick did a fantastic job of looking after her during the week and my sister took over for the weekends, now my sister pops in after her work to check on her and everything seems to be fine.
technically no one in the family is aware of billie, however one of our nieces seems to take after me and we think has created a bit of a FLR with her boyfiend/ partner. when ever she visits I can tell that she has noticed/ picked up on the way that Mick defers to me and some of the other little things.
She spoke to me a number of years ago about her relationship with her boy and he is definitely sub to her and she was worried that she was being too hard on him. I had to be careful how I gave her guidance on how to progress.
So I suspect that she is aware that we have a non conventional relationship in our marriage, she may even think of it in FLR terms.
It would be interesting to find out if she is running a FLR and what she has planned for her boy? now that would throw up so many possibilities and if there is anyone one in the family that we would open up to it would probably be her.
we are looking forward to doing lots more posts and we hae lots of things we want to publish and ideas to sound out.
best regards to you and your Owner.
