Afternoon everyone,
Apologies for the very long gap in posting but the work life balance has been completely out of balance at the moment.
Some of you may know that we have moved house, or to be more honest, we are still in the process of moving. Having gone through the stressful process of selling our house as well as finding a new home nearer to Madam's work. Well we have found and purchased a home but be have a few more weeks before we can move in.
In the mean time we are staying with Madam's family, and daily life is very vanilla. Most of our belongings are in storage and we are effectively living out of a number of bags.
At the moment we are staying with the Mother in Law (MoL) and it is becoming quite stressful for Madam, and it's not great on my side as I have a "Shadow" as I try and work from a small desk in her conservatory. There is nothing remotely FLR about our current situation as the MoL would pick up on it immediately and she is quite a straight laced individual.
So what is the plan, well we move in to the new house in middle of september and while it is in very good condition we do want to make some changes, such as convert a small bed room to an en-suite for the Mistress Bathroom as part of it as a walk in dressing room.
Also the spare bedroom would become my room. The kitchen needs work and there is the need for a home office for Madam and also one for me, we know what we want but we also know that we will do it over a period of time. Madam wants me to be busy as I progress to a "semi retired" balance of work and home life.
Unfortunately it does mean that we'll be busy and the blog will take time to get back to what it was but bear with us and keep popping back to check for updates.
Madam sends her regards to all readers and is equally annoyed that we haven't got the stability that we had hoped for but hopefully that will change very soon.
