Purging the Wardrobes

Its' been a busy old period here in the midshire of England as Madam and I go through the process of trying to sell our current property and look for a new home back in our original home area of Leicestershire.  We have been faced with quite a few challenges least of which has been dealing with estate agents, If we hear one more time about how a specific property will be perfect for us and then promptly find that it is a 1 bedroom former Air B&B located 2 streets from Madam's sister I'm sure Madam will rip the throat out of the agent!  Bless her!

So while I have been very busy with doing renovations, repairs and decorating to make our current house meet all the expectations that a potential buyer might want and playing host to those that come for viewings, Madam has been enduring the occasional stay with her Mother when she is working up in the leicester area.

One of the things that this move has done is force us both to do a serious look at our wardrobes and drawers.  the reason being is that we are down sizing, we know that we are and we are also realistic to accepted that for both of us we will need to reduce the size of our wardrobes.

For me it has been straight forward for my vanilla work wear, there has been a few items into the Charity bag but generally it isn't too big a collection.

For Madam, she has had to look at what she needs for her work wear, in terms of Office smart and Office casual.  what has become clear is that she has had a clear out of quite a few shoes.  Her casual and social wardrobe is the one that has taken a serious hit as she went through it being quite ruthless and she thinks that she has quite a sensible clothing collection now.

What has taken quite a cull for both of us has been the FLR wardrobes and in particular has been my underwear drawer.

There has been a reappraisal of things such as thongs - when did I last were those? and anything that has a heavy lace front to it.  why the lace front? well the current Chastity cage allows my foreskin to pop out the end of it and it is like wearing a bloody cheese grater!  so those have gone!

We have also been realistic enough to look at some of the other items, particularly the Basques, for both of us that don't fit anymore.  Both Madam and I have lost weight and as such there is a few of the basques that just don't work anymore.

We have also looked at some of the outfits and also done a bit of rationalisation on things and got rid of things, either due to wear and tear, not fitting or in Madam's case "Did I really used to wear that? Oh no, time for that to go!"

It has been quite good to have this clear out and also to understand better what we have.  it also means that we also now have a better handle on how much stuff we have to move or to store (there is a real risk that we will be moving out before we have our new place so things will be going into storage.)

The other side of this selling your home process is the fact that we have people coming around the house to view it for a potential sale and as such we have had to make sure the place is "very vanilla" and that the overt signs of our FLR have been discretely tucked away.  I'll be honest it is a bloody pain but we are making head way.

We just need to find the right place to move to....and the chances are we'll do that without the overly helpful advice of the bloody estate agent!
